Items Needed

  1. Internet access.
  2. Web browser software (Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator versions 4+ are recommended).
  3. An authorized username and password (New Account Information).
  4. First American RES maintains a back-up mirror site for all services. If the main valuations.basis100.com Web site is temporarily offline, you may point your browser to http://www.sivalue.com/. Please bookmark this URL for future reference.

Instructions

  1. Point your Web browser to http://valuations.basis100.com and click on the Solutions tab. Select "PASS".
  2. Type in your PASS or PowerBaseIN  user name and your password. Click on the "Submit" button.
  3. Now you will be at the Enter Subject Property screen. Required fields are the full street address and either the ZIP Code or the city and state. You may enter all fields if they are known. It is also acceptable to enter the Assessor's Parcel Number in lieu of the street address.
  4. Enter the owner's last name if known (optional).
  5. Enter a tracking number or loan number in the "Your Reference Number" field (optional).
  6. Once you have entered the subject search information, click the "Submit" button.
  7. The property address will be sent through an address normalizer to verify that it is a valid address. If successful, you will see a processing screen (step 8). If the normalizer cannot verify the address, click your browser's "Back" button and check the address you input. Make sure to enter any street directionals, suffixes and check the spelling. Click the "Submit" button to resend.
  8. At the processing screen, you will see a five second countdown timer. After five seconds click the "Retrieve Report" button.
  9. Your report will display on the screen. You may print the report directly from your Web browser.
  10. To value another property, click the "Value New Property" button.
