If you are like many of our Pass
customers on the Solimar platform, you have come to expect a
continuous and consistent level of availability and
service. While you may not realize
it, the name Solimar is also the name of a beach inSouthern
California. The entrepreneur that
created Solimar so named his company because he spent his
honeymoon on the Solimar Beach. Like all good days at
the beach, the sun must eventually set. And now the sun is
setting on the Solimar platform where you receive your Pass
reports.
Fear not, as Annie said, “The sun will
come out tomorrow.”
The Pass AVM you use today is available on a variety of
other platforms; including but not limited to RealQuest, AVM
Select, Connect2 Data and Vector.
The decision to eliminate the Solimar
platform is primarily predicated upon enhanced customer
service and speed of delivery. When the Solimar
platform debuted in 1995, it represented a state-of-the-art
application and Pass was among the first Internet based
AVMs. Since that
time, technology has advanced and our customers demand
multiple AVM choices on the same platform. Today, the Solimar
platform can only service Pass and a handful of small yet
related programs.
